Henk Schiffmacher

Henk Schiffmacher (Harderwijk, March 22, 1952) is a tattooist, painter, writer, collector and world traveler. This enumeration immediately shows that it is impossible to briefly summarize his profession or activities. Among other things, Henk Schiffmacher is a legend in the tattoo world. Henk constantly changes the images of his tattoos and creates a new perspective on tattoos through the numerous conventions he organizes. The resulting professionalization of this particular profession means that tattoos are no longer just for rugged types; Henk's tattoos have become fashionable for a wide audience. Henk has tattooed numerous international film and rock & roll stars, including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Kurt Cobain, Willy de Ville and Herman Brood.
